Biography

Dr. Schaller joined the College of Nursing at the University of South Carolina as an Assistant Professor in 2022 after graduating with her DNP. Prior to working at the College of Nursing, Dr. Schaller worked as a nurse practitioner for seven years at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine's Department of Child Abuse Pediatrics. She began her career working in a PICU for eight years as a registered nurse before becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner to advocate and provide care in orthopedics and child maltreatment.
