Bachelor's in Economics
Two degree programs in economics are available:
- The business economics concentration from the Moore School
- A Bachelor of Arts or Science in economics from South Carolina's College of Arts and Sciences.
All economics courses are taught by faculty at the Moore School. Students earning a degree from the Moore School take additional business core courses, while students earning a degree from the College of Arts and Sciences take more courses in nonbusiness subjects.
Master of Arts in Economics
The Moore School's Master of Arts in Economics program combines a solid foundation in economics with an emphasis on applying that knowledge to real-world situations. While the program prepares students for careers as professional economists in government and business, some graduates use the degree as a springboard toward further education in law or a doctoral degree in business or economics.
Ph.D. in Economics
This well-established doctoral program offered through the Department of Economics features a comprehensive yet flexible curriculum and prepares students for careers as research economists in academic, government and private settings.
