Library Leadership for Response Repository

For nearly ten years, the research team of Feili Tu-Keefner, Ph.D., Denise Lyons, and April Hobbs have been studying libraries during disasters. There have been many examples of how libraries served their communities through response and recovery.

This website is a grant awarded by the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 2. The project will summarize four research findings on libraries’ and librarians’ services before, during, and after disasters, including hurricanes, floodings, and wildfires. Also included are resources from organizations such as the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and Northeast Document Conservation Center for evidence-based information access by librarians and the general public. Finally, the site will provide various tools and resources to help libraries create disaster plans.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
