Carolina Eventing Club
What to Expect
The purpose of this organization is to function as an eventing team for the University of South Carolina. We will participate in intercollegiate eventing sanctioned horse trials, involving ourselves in the equestrian community in the area. We also hope to host clinics and help out the local eventing community by volunteering at competitions and other events. Eventing is an olympic equestrian sport where a horse and rider combination compete against others in three disciplines; Dressage, Show Jumping, and Cross Country. This particular club does not hold try-outs, is open to those with or without a horse, and participate in mounted and unmounted activities
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
